In conjunction with Alliance Atlantis, True has optioned the rights to AMERICAN SON, the recent best-selling book based on the life of John F. Kennedy Jr. It will be made into a two-hour movie for CBS, produced by TRUE, and is scheduled to premiere on CBS in 2004.
With Columbia Tristar Television, True is developing a two-hour network film based on Olivia Goldsmith's best-selling comedy YOUNG WIVES, a sequel to her smash FIRST WIVES CLUB. Goldsmith will write the screenplay and co-produce with True. With Lions Gate Films, True is developing an MOW for Lifetime Television based on a Vanity Fair article titled "Black Widow".
True has partnered with legendary comedy innovators SECOND CITY to create a series of scripted comedy events that combine the bite of improv comedy and the unpredictability of realty television.
