True is currently producing a full line-up of broadcast and cable programming.

True joins ABC’s highly successful EXTREME MAKEOVER franchise with a FAMILY EDITION that gives American families culture shock when they leave the comforts of home for life in some of the most remote areas of the world. The series marks True’s broadcast network debut and goes into production in January 2005.

GASTINEAU GIRLS, a reality sitcom chronicling the lives, loves and lingerie of New York socialites Lisa and Brittny Gastineau, premieres February 1st on E!. The 10-episode primetime series follows a beautiful, glamorous mother and daughter as they journey from New York to hot spots around the world in search of romance, career, and clothing.

TOWN HAUL, hosted by TRADING SPACES star Genevieve Gorder, premieres January 22nd on TLC. This uplifting series gives a makeover to an entire small town over the course of 6 episodes. Season one visits Jeffersonville, NY in the heart of the Catskills. Production is already underway on a second season in Laurens, SC.

Also on TLC is A BABY STORY, one of the top-rated programs on daytime TV and winner of a 2003 Emmy Award. Just renewed for a 8th season, the series celebrates the miracle of birth and explores the hopes, dreams, and fears of impending parenthood.

For Style Channel, True brings our storytelling skills to WHOSE WEDDING IS IT ANYWAY, a series that captures the drama, humor and chaos that goes into planning an American wedding.

For Discovery Channel, True is producing 40 episodes of KITCHEN SMACKDOWN, our U.S. adaptation of READY STEADY COOK, the hugely successful Endemol U.K. format. Premiering in Spring 2005, this daytime series features two highly regarded chefs who compete to create fantastic dishes in just 20 minutes using basic ingredients found in most kitchens.

Also for Discovery, production continues on our first season of B. SMITH STYLE, bringing the lifestyle guru’s distinct brand of domestic flair to her loyal audience.

True has two series airing on Discovery Health. Premiering in February 2005, 28 DAYS IN REHAB takes an unprecedented and searing look inside the world of drug and alcohol rehabilitation as we follow a group of addicts through rehab and recovery. In Spring 2005 comes 6 additional episodes of MYSTERY DIAGNOSIS, our highly rated, highly acclaimed series that examines the real medical mysteries of patients whose symptoms initially defied diagnosis.

And for Discovery Home, DOUBLE VISION sets a pair of identical twin decorators loose to decorate two rooms in the same house. Featuring Jayne and Joan Michaels, the series premieres in March 2005 for 10 episodes.

True also has a healthy slate of pilots in the works. Couples at a crossroads get a trial separation in the hit British format SINGLE AGAIN, which True brings to A&E. True is also producing POKER NIGHT, a documentary about the poker phenomenon, in conjunction with pokerroom.com, one of the world’s top gaming websites. And for TLC, True is creating a sequel series that picks up where A BABY STORY leaves off, following families during the harrowing and wonderful first weeks home with a newborn.

Current Fiction Projects

True has wrapped production on our first made-for-television movie, WIDOW ON THE HILL for Lifetime. Produced in association with Lion’s Gate Television, the film is true-crime thriller based on a Vanity Fair article. Natasha Henstridge and James Brolin star. The film’s worldwide premiere is set for January 24, 2005.

True is also developing a revolutionary project with Alan Arkin titled LOST AT SEA. In this hybrid mix of scripted and unscripted drama, improv guru Arkin will workshop, develop and direct an original, semi-improvised film with a cast of Hollywood A-listers. The film is an acerbic comedy about three hard-charging, urbane couples who get lost on a weekend at remote country cottage. True will create a TV series chronicling the weeks of rehearsal and preparation, and the film itself will hit the festival circuit and premiere as a theatrical release.
